Answers to Common Questions and Concerns

How Many Sessions Will I Need?

The number of sessions will differ from person to person. A good therapist will spend time helping you prepare before your first session to gain maximum results. The number of sessions depends entirely on the individual and their state of health or illness. The colon hydrotherapy process is interactive; you largely determine your results by your effort and commitment to the program.

If a person has not experienced colon hydrotherapy before, an initial series of 3 to 6 treatments is usually administered.

Most clients will return every month or two for maintenance purposes. Each person will feel their own need to return.

What Will I Experience After a Colonic Session?

Many people are energized with a feeling of "emptiness" and overall well being. Others may feel mild flu like symptoms for a few hours and possibly over the course of their colon hydrotherapy sessions. Again this is due to the different levels of toxicity in the individual. You may feel different after each session. Talk more in detail with your Colon Hydrotherapist or ask for client referrals.

I Have Heard Colon Hydrotherapy is Dangerous, and Can Wash Out the Good Flora?

lf a person is constipated, or continually struggling to maintain normal bowel movements it is pretty easy to determine they do not have adequate "good bacteria" in their system. Once the system is "clean" the body will function at a more optimal level. The vitamins and nutrients from food and supplements will be more easily absorbed at this time.

The actual administering of the colonic poses no danger whatsoever. A small rectal tube is inserted and the process of filling and emptying the colon with warm filtered water is performed. No drugs, stimulants or harsh foreign objects are ever inserted into the colon. Water in - Water out - Simple!
